It features exhibitions of contemporary art by regional artists in the main gallery (formerly the freight room), community programming and an eclectic Gallery Shop where you will discover one of a kind craft and art for home, cottage and gift-giving.
Admission to the gallery is free, donations gladly accepted. Rails End Gallery is a registered Canadian Charity (#118950641) devoted to bringing art to life in Haliburton.
Rails End is host to two major festivals each summer - Haliburton Art and Craft Festival (fourth weekend in July) where over 100 artists and artisans gather to show and sell their work in Head Lake Park next to the Gallery.
-Haliburton DrumFest (Labour Day Weekend), a lively celebration of drumming and rhythm in community with world drumming and percussion performances, drum circles and a vendor market.
