The Carambeck Community Centre is open Monday- Friday from 7:00pm – 10:00pm (Office hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm) This is one of the Town’s Municipal Buildings and has information on all upcoming programs and activities, as well as maps and information guides for the Town of Carleton Place. This location has bicycle racks located to the side, as well as areas along the fence line that cyclists can lock up their bikes if they prefer their bicycle to be at a closer proximity to the front door. This location has washroom facilities as well as a water fountain and drink machine and has benches for those who might need to take a rest.

Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum

Erected in 1872, this heritage designated building served the community of Carleton Place as the Town Hall and lock-up until 1879, and as Victoria School for 90 years until 1969. The museum is run by the Carleton Place and Beckwith Historical Society with assistance from hte Town of Carleton pLace and the Township of Beckwith.

Opening as the Victoria School Museum in 1985, the name was changed in 2011 to relfect the scope of its collection and its audience.

Circa 1894 is located in a newly renovated former United Church. The B and B boasts three ample sized guest rooms, a sitting area with a lovely fireplace, Satellite large screen TV a kitchenette and a three-piece bath for the exclusive use of our guests. As well, we have a second bathroom and two change rooms with showers in the Day Spa. Both the Rose Room and the Moon Room are located in the former Sunday School/Education Room and offer queen sized comfort. The Spa Room in the Day Spa offers two single beds, one with a pillow top mattress, and an in-room sink.

In season, we also have 2 RVs for the glamping experience. Come for a day or stay for a week while you explore Lanark Highlands on your bike. As part of the experience here at Circa 1894 B and B, and for a small additional charge, cycle guests are welcome to enjoy all that the attached, Adults Only, Circa 1894 Spa has to offer. Try out our two hot tubs, the cool/cold tub, the NIR Infra-red, the FAR Infra-red saunas and the Finnish Sauna for the thermo-therapy experience (hot, cold, relax, repeat, repeat) and relax in the Quiet Room or outside, beside the pond or on one of the decks – a well appreciated rest after a day on the road.
