Buoys Eatery is located on the wonderful Gore Bay waterfront on Manitoulin Island. Our dining room and patio have a great view of the harbour and marina. We specialize in local foods and make much of our food from scratch using local growers and suppliers. Enjoy our fresh made pizza or pastas, local fish dishes and local desserts. Have a beverage and enjoy the scenery, go for a dip at the swim beach or check out the boardwalk. Gore Bay has many wonderful bike friendly B & BS and shopping opportunities.
Enjoy “Backyard living” at Cedarwood Lodge; unwind in this beautiful woodland setting. You will want to linger.Cedarwood Lodge is an alpine style chalet dwelling constructed from Manitoulin Cedar, nestled in 3 acres of trees in Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island.
Cedarwood Lodge has two facilities: 1) Self contained ground floor Apartment comprising sitting/dining area, kitchenette and bathroom. Kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Dishes and silverware provided. The Apartment has a bedroom with a Queen size bed, and 3 piece bathroom; the sitting room has a double pull out bed to accommodate an additional two people and a child’s bed. Bed linens and towels provided.
2) The Queen Patio Suite Queen size bedroom with en suite bathroom This facility is available separately or can be combined with the Apartment. Central stairs access connects the two facilities, if required; also a small child’s bed can be added if required.

To the outside, large patio area, plus three communal gazebos providing a dining area, sitting area, kitchenette and barbeque.
Queen Patio Suite rate: $85.00. per night.

Charlton Lake Camp is a housekeeping cottage resort set among the towering pines in Northern Ontario’s Rainbow Country just 2km off of HWY 6 between Espanola and Little Current. The cottages are modern one, two and three bedrooms, with large, well-equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms and comfortable living areas. Each cottage has a fully screened porch, propane barbecue and docking right in front. All face the waters of Charlton Lake and are steps from the beautiful sandy beach. The camp offers boat, canoe and kayak rentals, as well as a launch ramp and docking for guests who bring their own boat. The camp offers fishing (bass, walleye, pike and pan fish), swimming, boating and hiking. Eco-tourists will love the easy access to Killarney Provincial Park for canoeing, kayaking and hiking. The M.S. Chi-Cheemaun is a passenger/vehicle ferry on route from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island. The Chi-Cheemaun operates between May – October with multiple daily sailings. The M.S. Chi-Cheemaun is more than a ship; it is a symbol of Owen Sound, Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin’s hospitality and love for nature. Its gleaming white sides hold not just passengers and cargo, but the memories of thousands of amazing voyages across the crystal blue waters it calls home.
The 2 hour crossing is a great alternative to highway driveway, you can relax on the decks while taking in the breathtaking scenery, or you can enjoy one of our many on-board experiences from our Sunset Dinner Cruise, Stargazers’ Delight Tour, Dinner & Concert Cruise or one of the many interactive presentation reflective of the rich culture and landscapes.
Choose to ride your bike on the ferry or attach it to your vehicle, we can fully accommodate your adventure plans. We are happy to provide cyclist the ability to make minor repairs at the repair station at the South Baymouth Terminal. Come take the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry and Travel In Good Spirits

Manitoulin Brewing Company is the product of a couple of adventurous, interesting and fun-loving guys from Northern Ontario. They’ve been around, swam with the sea turtles, lived the concrete jungle and wrestled with alligators. Or so they’ve said.
Manitoulin Eco Park is an Attractions Canada Award Winner offering accommodations, activites and events including deluxe tipi tenting, woodsy campsites, quaint camping cabins and comfortable bed & breakfast rooms. On site activities include a solar heated swimming pool, 18 hole miniature golf, nature interpretive centre, educational hiking trails, cycling routes, astronomy, birding, archery, playground, store, fossils, orienteering, picnic area, and RASC (Royal Astronomical Society Canada) designated dark sky preserve. Our summertime calendar of events includes Thursday nights Astronomy, Tuesday 2 for 1 mini putt, Sunday afternoon fossil hikes, Manitoulin Star Party, Drumming and Astronomy, Women’s Outdoor Weekend, Stargazing Manitoulin, Moonlight Hike & Wolf Howls, Focus on Forests, Perseids Meteor Showers Party, Geo-caching Manitoulin Frenzy, and Murder Mystery Orienteering. We are very cycling friendly and have four free cycling routes that begin and end at our park for guests who stay with us overnight.. We also have available in our library the reference book ‘Cycling the Backroads of Manitoulin” available to our guests.
