Guests enjoy scenic views of the river and the ships, large and small that traverse it. Cyclists and walkers appreciate the local trails and paths. We are a block from a lovely park, also overlooking the river, and not far from local beaches. The front yard has been converted to a certified Monarch Way Station, filled with beautiful butterfly friendly nectar plants. Butterflies and hummingbirds are frequent inhabitants, delighting visitors. Complimentary continental breakfast is included with your stay. Lunch and Supper meal service is also available, including supper specials, take-away picnic lunches and tea in the afternoon. We are minutes from local attractions such as Upper Canada Village, Upper Canada Playhouse, the Iroquois Locks, several golf courses, municipal dock and boat launch facilities. The second floor of our home has been converted into the bed and breakfast area. There are three bedrooms available, with a shared bath. The largest room, The Captain’s Quarters, overlooks the front gardens and the river. With double terrace doors, guests enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Sunsets over the river are spectacular! The Captain’s Quarters include a queen bed, seating and private dining areas. Watch the ships sail by, as you relax AND smell the roses! Other accommodations include: The Upper Canada Room, a quiet room, at the back of the house, featuring a double bed, sofa and small, private dining table.
