Description:

Welcome to Downtown Georgetown – Your Treasure Awaits! You’re invited to browse Downtown Georgetown and discover all our treasures; the unique shops, restaurants and services, the historic setting, the events and Farmers’ Market that Downtown Georgetown offers. The Downtown Georgetown BIA represents businesses and property owners in the historic Downtown area of the former town of Georgetown in Halton Hills. The Town of Halton Hills has been a valuable partner in the preservation and resurgence of Downtown Georgetown through the façade improvement program and other initiatives, removal of parking meters, commitment to expanded library facilities and a new road and redesigned streetscape. We want cyclists to feel welcome in our neighbourhood! Enjoy browsing our website for interesting shops, restaurants and services to visit in person. Check out our upcoming events! The farmers market is always such a hit as well the Rock’n Rollin Classics car show and Masquerade on Main and Mill. Originally founded in 1823, Downtown Georgetown has been a lively centre of activity for almost two centuries. Many of the original historic buildings still stand to this day and with other features make our Downtown one of the most frequently filmed towns in Ontario!
