Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum / Bike Welcoming Centre
Nestled in Oxford County, the Dairy Capital of Canada, this award winning museum shares the rich history of the Canadian cheese industry and its impact on a small town. The museum however is about more than just cheese. Check out the breathtaking wood carvings by the late Wilson Johnston, step back in time as you enter the Oxford County Museum School, find out about Ingersoll’s connection to the NHL, the Olympics and more through the Sports Hall of Fame, and don’t miss seeing a bicycle that was ridden during a round-the-world tour in the 1930s! Situated on a paved trail, the Ingersoll Museum offers a Bike Repair Station, is adjacent to Centennial Park, is close to downtown shopping & dining, and is home of Canada’s only cheese playground. Tours and tastings can be pre-booked.
