Blyth Trailway Cabins are three brand new cabins located directly on the 132km Guelph to Goderich (G2G) Rail Trail. Each cabin has a Queen bed and can be rented individually or rent all three as a group. The cabins feature full bathrooms, kitchenette and outdoor BBQ, as well as an indoor propane fireplace, AC/furnace split, and living room. Rent a bike from the nearby Blyth Bike Shop or bring your own to explore the trail (located about 25 km from Goderich or 107 km from Guelph on the trail). As an overnight guest, you will stay in a private wing of our newest building, Residence 8. This building offers affordable and practical accommodations from May to August based on availability. This semi-suite style residence is appropriate for couples, the individual traveler requiring private accommodation or if you are traveling with another person. A double room has two separate bedrooms each with a single bed and student furnishings. The adjoining washroom is private and accessible from both bedrooms. Rooms feature a twin bed complete with linens and furnishings that include a desk, chair, and shelving unit.

Explore the museum and the Simpson Mine Shaft Tour. Hike the historic Mine Trail only a short distance on your bike. Enjoy the waterfront located downtown Bruce Mines. Tom Thomson painted the harbour of Bruce Mines in 1912. Bruce Mines is located 72.98 km or 65.89 miles from Blind River and 70km or 43 miles from Sault Ste Marie. Sault Ste Marie offers the Kinsmen Trails at Hiawatha Park or Sault Ste Marie Canal Historic Site. Blind River offers the Boom Camp Trails. Bike our local country dirt roads that lead to the Voyageur Trail or just observe nature and the farmlands. St Joseph Island also has cycling trails. The space
The studio is a small pine cabin with a cozy queen size bed as well as a fold down sofa with end table and lamp. The large antique stain glass and picture windows offer lots of light, and open to let in the fresh lake breezes.
The doors to the studio open to a large deck with a corner pergola. There you can enjoy the outdoor living room complete with couch, chairs and coffee table, all under the shade of a magnificent butternut tree. If you decide to pass on beach front or downtown square dining, we offer a simple out door kitchen with a small BBQ to grill a meal of your own. Some basic utensils are provided along with some dinner wares.
Follow the deck around to the back of the studio to find your private outdoor bathroom. Complete with a covered waterless toilet (see note at bottom) and an open to the sky shower and antique washing station, we assure you a very unique bathroom experience!
