A certified NCCP community cycling coach, Robert is an accomplished cyclist and racer in road, gravel, cyclocross, mountain bike, and track disciplines. A father, artist-educator, theatre artist, photographer, and filmmaker, Robert divides his time between the quiet roads and beautiful vistas of the Ottawa Valley with the hustle and bustle of the Greater Toronto Area. Apart from our guided tours, Madawaska Valley Cycling also has informal local club rides that meet multiple times a week during the summer to ride road and gravel routes out of Barry’s Bay, Wilno, and Killaloe. Distances are usually around 100 km or more and average 30 km/h, depending on the terrain and surface. We offer cycling adventures for women within the Niagara Region. Our tours included overnight cycling retreats, and half & full day cycling tours with yoga & lunch. We cycle through quaint towns, historical areas, beach communities, quiet rural regions, and wine country. We are Saul and Mary, and are located in beautiful Prince Edward County, overlooking the stunning Bay of Quinte (with direct water access if you wish to take a break in one of our canoes/kayaks, or fish from our dock!). We have a couple of bikes to rent if you are not bringing your own(limited,based upon availability). Spectacular cycling is on our doorstep, with a multitude of wineries, quaint towns (Picton, Wellington, Bloomfield), close by, as well as the wonderful beaches that the area has to offer.We have a beautiful cottage with water views that sleeps 6, 10 minutes away from our home if you need a place to stay (Bayview Cottage). At our home we can also offer a place to pitch your tent for the night. If you are riding in the County and just want to stop for a rest and refreshment, give us a call and stop by! My husband is a bike mechanic available for repairs if necessary, and we have secure storage for your bicyles. If you are coming by train, we are happy to meet you from the station and can transport you and your bikes to our place or the cottage. Not sure where to go?
