It’s not just great tasting beer and it’s not just brewed here. It’s also grown here and grown in a sustainable manner. Our beer is as local and as organic as possible -This is a truly local beer. Open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from noon-9pm – make us part of your ride about!
We believe that great beers start with superior ingredients. That’s why we choose the finest local and organic malts and hops available. However, contained within the pint is far more than just a great beer. It’s a beer that celebrates the hard work and wisdom of local farmers. It’s a beer that values relationships, cooperation, and community. It’s a beer that recognizes the finite nature of our home planet, and the need to make sustainable choices in everything we do. It’s a beer that believes that a more equitable society starts with a democratic workplace. In short, contained within is a great beer that can better our world, one pint at a time.

The Second Wedge Brewing Co. is dedicated to brewing beer that brings as much joy to others as the trails of Uxbridge bring to us. We get our name from the rolling hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, which formed in four wedges from west to east.
We felt it was time to bring our two loves together and bring the best of beer to Uxbridge, while putting our town on the craft beer map. Opened in December 2015, we’re a bike-friendly, walkable neighbourhood brewery in downtown Uxbridge — after your ride, come in and try what’s fresh and on tap, grab some bottles or fill a growler to go. Cheers!

Founded in 1996, County Durham Brewing was largely Bruce Halstead’s one-man operation for a quarter century until partnering with Toronto’s original craft beer bar, C’est What, in 2021. Following this, C’est What Durham Brewing opened to the public for the first time, offering a new bottle shop and parking lot patio. True to our reputation as the go-to pub and brewery for cask ales, six of our packaged offerings are nitro-infused, in a style we refer to as “cask-in-a-can”. Patio customers can enjoy a rotating draught beer and our line of canned brews, as we work to open our tasting room in the fall.
