Inspired by the Grand Cafés of Paris, Balzac’s Coffee Roasters was brought to life by a burning ambition to bring that culture to the Great White North i.e. Canada. The company was founded in Stratford, Ontario in 1996, and has since grown to 17 distinct locations and can be found on the shelves of grocery stores across the country.
When you think of a quaint town, your mind will likely go to a place just like Kleinburg Village. Located on the original lands of the Ojibwe Anishinaabe People, this charming and picturesque hamlet is home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, as well as many great restaurants, unique stores and wellness spas. We had the unique opportunity to completely restore the Arthur McNeil house – a landmark heritage property – that had recently fallen into disrepair. A place where coffee and art lovers unite, you can feel the history come alive with every sip. Perfect for inspiration. Ideal for creativity. An apt meeting spot for friends and family. Relish the quintessential café experience – tucked away from all the hustle and bustle – nestled snugly between the two streams of the Humber River.
