Our 600 sqft open concept studio flat tastefully dressed with period furnishings including canopy bed with privacy drapes, pullout queen sofa bed and queen murphy bed all with quality mattresses. This flat comes complete with kitchenette, washer/dryer and spacious three pc washroom. Lounge in front of picture windows, fireplace and 55″ smart TV. The attached barn offers secure space for bicycles, motor bikes, canoes, etc. We are walking distance to boutique shopping and fine dining in our downtown district. In the small town of Cayuga in Haldimand County, by the Grand River is the Carrousel B&B. There are great quite, rural paved roads that follow the Grand River and near by is Lake Erie. The Carrousel offers two very spacious suites, and two very comfortable rooms. The suites has mini kitchenettes. Laundry service is offered and there is a secured locked garage. Cyclist can wash their bikes. A healthy full course breakfast is offered at your time, your choices. The grocery store is open 24 hrs. and there are restaurants, a Tim Horton’s, and Godfather’s Pizza, all within walking distance. The BBQ is for your use and the patio table and chairs. There is a very large koi pond with a swing on the pond deck which is surrounded by large flower beds. The Carrousel B&B is a escape oasis. Haldimand and Norfolk Counties have cycling maps for your trip planning.
Chesley’s Inn was built in 1814 by a veteran of the War of 1812, Alsaints Chesley. It offers cyclists secure storage. There are three bed and breakfast rooms in the main Inn. Each has an ensuite bath with a rain forest shower. Breakfasts offered include locally grown organic food wherever possible. Even our bacon is traditionally smoked Berkshire pork from a nearby organic farm. Eggs are farm fresh and there is always an assortment of healthier options including fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. There is also “The Innkeeper’s Quarters” which is a self-contained two-bedroom apartment with kitchen, bath, living room, private entrance and a patio in the yard. The Quarters are perfect for two couples wishing to share. The Inn is in the heart of Old Cornwall, a block from the cycle path and a block from a wide range of restaurants, sidewalk cafes and a full service cycle shop. The tourist office, which is half a block away, has cycling maps and advice for those wishing to explore the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. After ten years as a cycle commuter in Toronto, the owner is only to happy to share some of our quieter escapes.

Culverdene House is a heritage-designated home on 1.6 treed acres just south of Simcoe close to Port Dover. Culverdene offers two spacious guest rooms each with a private bathroom and a living-dining room for the exclusive use of our guests. We serve full breakfasts with locally sourced ingredients such as pancakes with maple syrup and sausages, bacon and eggs, quiche and fruit.
