Situated 10 minutes west of Port Colborne, “Sans Souci on Lake Erie” nestled in in the hamlet of Camelot Beach. This lovely 2 bedroom lakefront cottage/beach house is perched high on a hill overlooking the ever changing and wonderful waters of Lake Erie. A great location and a marvellous aspect.
This cottage is perfect for cyclists to enjoy the nearby Friendship Trail and also the gently curving roads along Lake Erie. I have seen many cycling clubs in their brightly coloured togs zipping by – this is a great place for you to stop and enjoy the company of your group as your cook, barbeque, picnic and enjoy the beach together, or fireside chats and games.
It has a nice big kitchen for you and your pals to mingle and cook together – for we all know that the party starts in the kitchen – it overlooks both the lake and the dining/sitting area. It has an enclosed sunporch perfect for reading or chatting or snoozing. It has 2 bedrooms, one with custom king size bed, and the other with a double bed. It has a quiet little deck for one or two on the west side, and a large deck on the east side perfect to enjoy the lake view through the trees, while enjoying your sips of choice or maybe it is a morning tea or coffee, whatever is your pleasure, it is all there for you to enjoy.
And I have not even mentioned the beach yet, oh yes, the beach, beautiful Camelot Beach, one of the best beaches – ok it really is the best beach – surely I am not biased :) Crystal clear waters to swim, boogie board on those wavey days – for there really are some doozies, or fool around on a noodle and just loll around enjoying the soothing waters. Or walking, and jogging on the beach, yoga or picnic on the beach, shell and rock collecting and naturally just a sunbathe under a beach umbrella with a good book and eventually have a doze off. Evening time at the beach invites roasting marshmellows having smores and stories at the bonfire. Sounds perfect?
And when the lovely summertime bids adieu it is a wonderful spot to enjoy the fall, surrounded by the gorgeous fall colours and cozying up by a roaring fire.
When you feel you want to venture out of the comfort of “Sans Souci on Lake Erie”, there is just so much that you can see and do:
