Our contemporary suites offer fully equipped kitchenettes, queen or king size beds, AC, free parking, free Wi-Fi, and free internet tv. Here is a perfect home base for exploring this part of Eastern Ontario. The nation’s capital, Ottawa, is just 30 minutes away. There are other hotels in Kemptville but none like the luxury of the Kemptville Suites. We are a very small hotel and do not have front desk staff. The VanderMarck Boutique Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Collingwood’s vibrant downtown and is steps to shopping, restaurants, the theatre, year-round festivals, and activities. Grocery stores, the LCBO, and municipal offices are all nearby, as are Collingwood’s beautiful waterfront and extensive trail network. It’s just a short drive to the area’s many attractions, including Blue Mountain, Scenic Caves, Wasaga Beach, The Bruce Trail and world-class golf courses. The views of the Bay at sunset are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood! The house has a unique history, built in 1912 for the town doctor and onetime Mayor, Joseph Arthur, by renowned Toronto Architect Eden Smith. We have re-imagined this old house with one goal, creating a memorable experience for our guests. Everything throughout has been selected with care, including the beautiful photography, luxury linens, designer furniture, accessories, handcrafted bath products. The hotel has undergone extensive renovation and also boasts a beautiful outdoor common area with several water features where guests can relax. For a fee, the patio space is also available for small events and weddings. There are nine (9) suites, located on three floors accessible only by the original staircase. Incorporated into the hotel is the latest technology in locks and security. Surveillance cameras monitor the parking area and all common areas in the hotel. Access through the front entrance and into your suite is by your personal keypad access code. The hotel has no front desk and offers guests maximum privacy. Everything is done completely wireless, from booking your suite to check in and security. The hotel offers secure bike storage for our cyclist visitiors.
