Originally, built around 1898, this unique 8-sided barn was  built for stabling animals, but was left empty for years until Susanne Spence-Wilkins saw it and made plans of her own.

With a dream to make it “more than a garden centre, more than a store”, Susanne and her team, consisting of family and friends in the community, have created a very special “Garden Inspiration Centre”.

The café is very popular with locals and bike-by guests alike.  Every day the kitchen prepares a sandwich made with fresh baked bread, oven-roasted meat and fillings; large or small chef’s salad; a soup made-from-scratch with local ingredients; and a butter tart or piece of pie. The cafe now has an expanded menu and offers free WiFi!

And don’t miss out on the ice cream! Made locally at Shaw’s Ice Cream in Port Stanley. Hand-scooped and delicious.

Cyclists most welcome!
