Lily’s Café is proud to serve both Pilot and Cherry Bomb coffee alongside Whole World Trade tea. We bake fresh pastries daily as well as homemade cookies, muffins, loaves and butter tarts. Our lunches include sandwiches, quiches, soups and salads. We offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Our café has lots of indoor seating; all menu items are also available as take out. Lily’s Café is attached to Books & Company, which features books, puzzles, magazines, games and more items too numerous to mention. There is a bike locking station out front along with benches and tables with chairs for the warmer months. Safari Bar and Grill has transformed the corner of Randall Drive and Kingston Rd. in the centre of Historic Pickering Village into an exciting entertainment and culinary experience, bringing a little downtown flare to the Durham Region. An experienced kitchen executes quality, creative food all of which, including our own signature home made desserts, is prepared daily on the premises led by an outstanding chef in local Durham resident Mike Grassam. Safari’s menu really does have something for everyone, hearty salads, hand rolled pizza, tasty pasta, Black Angus steaks, and the best burger in town complimented by an outstanding wine list and 10 craft beers on tap. Safari Bar and Grill is comprised of three parts; main floor restaurant, lower level billiard room and lounge and the largest outdoor patio in Durham. This Port Lambton Store is a great place to stop for a rest and have a made to order breakfast sandwich, sub, wrap or sandwich of many differenct choices. The store also carries fresh fruit at the counter as well as energy bars and snacks. The Staff have all received the Certified Food Handlers course as well.
There is also a Country Style Coffee corner to enjoy as well as a small bakery for the sweet lovers. Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, Smoothies, Milkshakes are also available to cool off with. The store carries a large selection of cold beverages as well. It is located across from Dedecker Park where there is also a washroom.
