Downtown Bike Hounds (affectionately known as Bikehounds or DBH) is downtown Hamilton’s only full service bicycle shop. While it makes little sense to pigeonhole any bike shop into a specific cycling category, we can safely say that we have a noticeable slant toward commuter cycling, utility/cargo biking, city bikes and the cycling lifestyle (i.e. using your bike as a tool in every day life).
MEC Barrie sells a full range of bicycles suited for Road, Touring, Mountain, Commuting and Kids specific models. Our full service shop is staffed year round for tune-ups and repairs.Accessories include spare parts, tools, locks, pannier bags, clothing & shoes. Our store is located in Simcoe County with has some fantastic road cycling and mountain bike options. We have covered bicycle parking, an air compressor, the store is located close to. Come along to meet our friendly staff who will leave you enthused about cycling in Ontario! We also offer a wide variety of affordable in-house weekly clinics on Bike Maintenance and other cycling related topics.
