The Festival of the Sound Office is now home to this historic Canadian Pacific Train Station. In 1995, the building was recognized federally as a building of architectural, historic, and environmental significance by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada under the Heritage Railway Stations Protections Act. The Festival of the Sound is one of Canada’s premier destinations for classical and jazz music. The Festival is held annually from mid-July to mid-August at a variety of venues including the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts; The Island Queen Cruise Ship; Chippewa Cruise Ship; St. Andrew’s Presbyterian; Seguin Valley Golf Club and more. The Festival Office offers local tourism information, public facilities, space to lock bicycles(secure during office hours), historic sites, close up live train-viewing area(indoor and outdoor), architectural building, historic building, local history, arts gallery, gift shop and of course opportunity to purchase Festival of the Sound event tickets and more!

Fast forward to 2010, Cathy bought the historic Dr. Byron Field residence and launched Heritage House. The team now includes Pastry Chef Grace Thomson and Red Seal Chef Justin Drago, and a solid support crew for kitchen help and special events.
