This “O” scale historic model railway is a depiction of the impact of railroading on urban and rural development as it was in the mid-1950’s. The time period modelled is that of the transition from steam to diesel locomotives used on both passenger and freight trains. It is a unique and interactive display with on-floor hosts who function as ‘interpreters’ of the railway’s layout and features.
