Originally established in 1934, Gibbs Honey is a 3rd generation commercial apiary in Vankleek Hill, owned by Russell and Andrea Gibbs. They combine time-honoured tradition with modernity to produce premium, 100% raw, wildflower honey and beeswax products, made only by their own bee colonies. Their historic farm is situated on 111 acres and offers a small store and rest area. During the summer months they also offer beekeeping and honey tasting experiences which can be booked on their website.
Meleg’s Lakeview Orchard is a family fruit and vegetable farm. We offer u-pick and ready picked seasonal fruits such as strawberries, cherries, raspberries, peaches, blackberries, apples and pumpkins. We also grow field tomatoes, potatoes, beans, peppers, different type of melons and more which are offered in our store. We make quality apple cider and apple cider vinegar as well as paprika spice. We have an on-site retail store where you can relax and enjoy a piece of home made pie, apple cider or other treats. Also you can rest outside by a picnic table located in a shaded area. On-site restroom is provided.
