The only Visitor Information Centre located within steps of Highway 17 Trans-Canada Highway on Muskrat lake. The Cobden VIC is located in a park area, with Muskrat Lake view and access to the Main Street of the village of Cobden. This VIC offers picnic areas, beach access, overnight camping, clean bathrooms free WIFI and showers. Camping sites costs $10-$15 and gives you the combination to access the showers. Call Elmer at 613 570-8492. Some sites also offer hydro and water. The VIC is within short walking distance to many of the villages quaint specialty shops and unique dining experiences. This community thrives during peak tourism season as it serves as the gateway to the Whitewater Rafting companies. Located at 15 Curtis Avenue South in Paris Ontario, directly on the S.C. Johnson Trail, the County of Brant Community Services Building houses Brant Tourism. A safe and very convenient area for cyclists, the building has a bicycle rack & picnic table area. During business hours (0830-1630 M-F) there is access to washrooms, water, first aid, tourism staff, maps & destination brochures. Within a couple hundred meters there are restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores. The County of Brant Community Relations Department is also housed in this building and they offer a wonderful “Bike Lend” program. Located in the Museum of Industrial Technology, the Delta Mill Society hosts a tourist information centre for the Township of Rideau Lakes and the surrounding area. The museum is part of the Old Stone Mill National Historic Site complex, owned and operated by the Delta Mill Society. Open daily Victoria Day weekend through Labour Day, 10am to 5pm, other times by appointment. Public washroom on site.
Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) Pickering Nuclear Generating Station is one of the largest nuclear generating stations in the world, located in the City of Pickering along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Pickering Nuclear supplies over 12 percent of Ontario’s electricity safely and reliably and has been doing so for decades. Visit the Pickering Nuclear Information Centre to learn more about OPG and nuclear energy. Hours of operation are: Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Six Nations Tourism offers a beautiful bike stop, located on the largest stand of Carolinian Forest in Canada, this rest area will have you refreshed for the next kms in your bike ride. While you’re here park your bike in our bike rack, refill your bottles with cool water and ask us more about our community, sites, events and learn the history of the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. #SeeSixNations
