The Carleton Place Welcome Centre & The Roy Brown Museum is our official Bike Welcome Centre. Located at the historic Moore House at 170 Bridge Street. Here you will find public washrooms, tourism information, emergency bike kit, first aid kit, and access to our municipal docks, perfect for a mid bike swim or just to put your feet in the water. Additional bike stops in Downtown Carleton Place are our shops, our restaurants, and parks. Our Town Hall Square has spots for picnics, Market Square, especially on Farmer’s Market Saturdays: May to October, 7:00 am -1:00 pm, and Carleton Junction where you will find the community’s cherished pump track, an additional bike repair kit, and more public washrooms.
Carleton Junction was home to the Carleton Place train yard, in fact, if you look to the left of the pump track you will see the historic roundhouse.

We are a fun, funky place to grab breakfast or lunch when you’re traveling through Halidmand-Norfolk. We are located in Dunnville, Ontario, in the heart of some very beautiful farmland and we can see the awesome Grand River from our back door. We offer classic bacon and egg breakfast all day, plus omlettes, eggs benedict, crepes and many more favourites. We also make a great lunch, featuring big sandwiches on our homemade bread, daily soups made in house from scratch and lots of lunch specials! No deep fryer, everything is grilled to keep things on the healthier side. Speaking of healthy, we also bake our own pies, cakes, date squares and lots of other tempting desserts! Our space is large, so often you can bring your bike inside (although there are places to lock up outside, both front and back). A beautiful winding ride from every direction to the hamlet of Glen Huron. Giffen’s Country Market is a great stop for breakfast, lunch, apples and of course our famous butter tarts and other baked goods to give you an extra boost over the rolling hills. After visiting us, bike the Glen Huron, Dunedin, Creemore loop before heading back down the hill to Collingwood.
