Opening in 1952 at this location, the Brant Museum & Archives has been entertaining audiences with stories of Brant County History. Our permanent exhibits showcase Brantford store fronts, industry, manufacturers, and pioneer kitchen. Additional temporary exhibits rotate frequently to ensure that there is always something new to see. You may also book an appointment to access documents in the archives.
Nestled along the historic Welland Canal, visit Niagara’s south coast cultural campus, the Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum, where we engage visitors in the rich cultural, industrial, and marine heritage that has shaped Port Colborne for generations.
After securing your bike on the grounds, take a stroll through our heritage village and marine park or visit the Williams House for exhibitions that delve into local history. Explore more of our arts and culture at the historic Roselawn estate nearby. Need some refreshments? Enjoy an afternoon tea at our volunteer-run Edwardian era tearoom from 2pm to 4pm, daily from June to September. We also have picnic tables on the grounds if you’re looking for a shady spot to enjoy your break.
