Maker House Co. is a social enterprise retail store in the Hintonburg neightbourhood of Ottawa, located at 987 Wellington St. West since 2015. They carry a curated collection of handcrafted furniture and homewares from over 100 local artisans around Ottawa and Canada. Wide variety from embroidered vintage maps to chalkboard wine glasses, wooden ipad stands, hand-poured soy candles, and even custom dining tables. A number of pieces are bike-themed because of the owner’s love of cycling. The company donates 2% of all proceeds to community non-profits including Right Bike!
