Founded in 1996, County Durham Brewing was largely Bruce Halstead’s one-man operation for a quarter century until partnering with Toronto’s original craft beer bar, C’est What, in 2021. Following this, C’est What Durham Brewing opened to the public for the first time, offering a new bottle shop and parking lot patio. True to our reputation as the go-to pub and brewery for cask ales, six of our packaged offerings are nitro-infused, in a style we refer to as “cask-in-a-can”. Patio customers can enjoy a rotating draught beer and our line of canned brews, as we work to open our tasting room in the fall.
