Whistling Gardens – Botanical Gardens
Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk County, along the Waterford Heritage Trail, our section of the Trans Canada Trail, just 15 minutes south of Hwy 403 near Brantford, Canada’s newest horticultural playground represents 18 acres of landscaped romantic renaissance gardens, 4 km of walking trails, and the largest privately owned rare conifer collection in North America. Several formal statuary, themed gardens and informal water features complete with cascades, waterfalls, a babbling brook and Canada’s only all stone musical fountain amphitheatre. Cyclists will enjoy our hospitality as we offer a secure daytime bike lock-up area, rest areas, water, beverages and local healthy snacks, and local cycling/tourism information. Guests may purchase rare and ornamental treasures at our Garden Centre.
