Every year there are more and more cycling events happening across Ontario. Below you'll find information on a variety of recreational, touring and race events for 2018. We will continue to add cyclings events throughout the year as the event dates are published.

    Website Graphic resizedOntario By Bike Ride - Essex Windsor Loop - September 1-3, join Ontario By Bike on this epic long weekend and small group tour in Ontario's southernmost region and through one of Ontario's popular wine regions. This self-guided, supported tour is a 3 day / 2 night looped route incorporating the portions of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, Chrysler Greenway rail trail and the Trans Canada Trail.

    Tour di Via Italia - Now in its 60th year, the Tour di Via Italia is the oldest historical, international street race in Ontario. Held on Labour Day (September 2), the racing kicks off on Sunday.

    Prince Edward County Gran Fondo - On September 8, choose from 3 ride distances - 50km, 100km and 150km. . Travel & Leisure recently described Prince Edward County as one of the top places to travel to in the world. Now ride there!

    Bikes4Bibles (Fergus Ride) - On September 8, enjoy a 32km ride (approx. 2-3 hours) around the Elora Cataract Trail, starting from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Fergus to the town of Bellwood and back to Fergus.

    Medics for Mental Health Bike Tour - First Responders spend their lives helping others. But who is there to help them? Join riders across Ontario as they do a 50km or 100km bike ride raising awareness for mental health importance among First Responders. All riders welcome on September 8th in Oxford County.

    EpicTOUR-Halton GTA GranFondo Epic Tour - This 6th annual (formerly named Epic Halton) multi-distance mass participation GranFondo-style cycling event on September 9th, 2018 features 165, 140, 125, 110, 80 or 50 km options as well as a 20 km Family Ride. Designed for all ages and abilities, the course explores the scenic and challenging terrain of Milton, Halton Hills, and Burlington.

    The Ride - On September 9th, join cyclists in Ottawa raising funds for cancer research and at The Ottawa Hospital Fundraiser. Pick from two routes, 50km (closed route) or 108km, starting and ending in Tunney's Pasture.

    Dairy Capital Stampede - On September 9th, round up your biking buddies and go join the Woodstock Cycling Club at The Pines. This is open to all levels of riders, all you need is a proper fitting helmet and a bike, preferably a well maintained mountain bike.

    Mono on a Bike 2018 - On September 9th, join a ride along beautiful off-road trails through Mono Cliffs Provincial Park! Beginning and ending at Mono Community Centre, this family-friendly ride includes an 8km course suitable for parents and kids of all ages.

    Bike Up Northumberland! - On September 15, join the 5th annual charity ride event in support of Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation and Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. Routing follows the scenic Waterfront Trail from Cobourg to Presqu'ile Park in Brighton and is designed for riders of all ages and abilities. With varying return distances – 5km, 10km, 25km, 50km and 100km. Cycle Transitions will be on hand offering free bike and helmet to borrow as part of a "Get Back on Your Bike" program - Including the oppportunity to ride a mini-route with a cycling coach.

    Harvest Ride - On September 15, enjoy a harvest bicycle ride on some of the most beautiful roadways in Ontario in support of Switchback Cyclery! Sign up for a scenic and guided 15km, 25km, or 70km ride through the idyllic countryside of Northumberland County followed by lunch at Headwaters Community Farm & Education Centre.

    MEC Burlington Century Ride - On September 16, join this one day cycling adventure on an open for people who are passionate about cycling. Choose between 50 or 100km race throughout the escaptment.

    Barrie 2 Baycrest - On September 16th, 2018, celebrate the 23rd annual Barrie 2 Baycrest ride. Travel through scenic countryside north of the city, and experience a convivial atmosphere and post-ride festivities. Riders can choose between a 100km or 50km route. Costs include limited edition jersey, breakfast, lunch and two tickets to post-ride dinner.

    PwC MS Bike Tour - Toronto - PwC MS Bike is the largest cycling series in North America. Since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels fundraise and cycle together to end Canada’s disease. This unique event series provides Canadians with the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country. On September 16th, 2018 join cyclists on a 30 or 50km ride around the Toronto Area.

    Caribou Charity Ride - On September 9, join the 9th annual Caribou Charity Ride. Cyclists can choose between a 50, 75 or a 100km ride. The ride is for everyone from the average weekend warrior to accomplished cyclists. The meeting point is the Nor'Wester Resort Hotel at 2080 Highway 61 and both rides will travel through Oliver Paipoonge Township near Thunder Bay, Ontario.

    Big Move Cancer Ride - On September 9, ride the 10th annual "Big Move" in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Cycle a 100km, 50km, or 25km route throughout the scenic Niagara Region. Gather a team or ride as an individual, but don’t miss out on this BIG day!

    Skytop Beer and Bike Fest -  - On September 8, head to Scugog in Durham Region for a day shredding through beautiful trails? How about testing some sweet bikes, awesome food, local craft brewers, skills clinics, group rides, contests and some great live music to end the day!

    Wild Betty's FunDuro 2017- - On September 11, ride in this women's only mountain bike event in Toronto. Have fun, ride and meet up with other female riders.

    Tour de Headwaters - On September 15, ride in this 3rd annual event takes place in Caledon and the hamlet of Inglewood as the Start/Finish location for the 101.5km, 50km road routes and a 25km “family friendly” trail route.

    Centurion BMCenturion Canada – On September 15-16, join in this popular event with 25, 50 and 100 km rides and kids and hill climb races. Attracting thousands of participants and spectators, the September Centurion is based out of Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood.

    Thousand Island Gran Fondo - On September 16, choose from 3 ride distances, 160KM, 120KM and 90Km. The ride takes you all the way through the Thousand Islands Parkway where it finishes at the outskirts of Brockville. Riders will cross over a bridge at the 401 onto beautiful secondary country roads all the way back into Gananoque. Cyclists will continue along Hwy 2 back into Kingston and the Woolen Mill finish area.

    Cyclosportive Perth - On September 18, join hundreds of cyclists on the roads in, around and between Perth, Murphy's Point, Portland, and Westport. This is not a race - go hard or enjoy the scenery. Route options include 100km, 122km and 160km.

This year’s event will be offering a ride for all ages and skill levels. From beginner family rides (5 km, 10 km) to advanced rides for those who are up for the challenge (25 km, 50 km), the Tour de Mississauga has something for everyone. Don’t miss this exciting event!

    Discover L&A Ride - Hop on your bike September 22nd, 2018 for a 58-kilometre journey that takes you along paved roads overlooking the water's edge and authentic rural Eastern Ontario landscapes. Start and finish in Bath, at local brewing company, stop at heritage sites and enjoy local music and refreshments along the way. 

    Ride for Safe Streets Join 400 other cyclists and help raise $50,000 to fund cycling advocacy in Toronto, including bringing protected bike lanes to Bloor St, Danforth Ave, Yonge St and beyond! Registration is $40, and includes a fully escorted ride and lunch at our reception.

    Pedal for Portage - On Saturday, September 22nd, join a charity ride in scenic Centre Wellington. Pick from two routes, 55km road route or 27 trail ride, starting and ending at Grand River Raceway. Cyclists of all ages & fitness levels welcome. Proceeds in support of Portage Ontario to help youth overcome drug dependency.

    Windsor Poker Ride - September 22 - Join a family friendly bike ride in Windsor that will include visits to historical neighbourhoods and local businesses, raising money for prostate cancer research

    Wellspring Logo Wellspring Peloton Challenge - 35 riders will cycle more than 3,000 kms over 7 days from Toronto, Ontario to Miami in a 24-hour cycling relay. The ride is taking place from September 22-29 and is in support of Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation to raise funds for vital cancer support programs in the Greater Toronto Area. There are limited spots for this iconic ride.

    Fall Epic 8 Hour - Ride this MTB Relay race on September 22, 2018 at Hardwood Ski & Bike. This year's race will be Rock & Roll Themed.

    The Beau's Oktoberfest Bike Ride - On September 22, cycle from Bourget, Ottawa or Cornwall to Beau’s Oktoberfest in Vankleek Hill to raise money for the United Way Ottawa and United Way SD&G’s “All That Kids Can Be” programs. The United Way’s “All That Kids Can Be” program ensures that kids in at-risk neighbourhoods have access to critical programming such as homework clubs and summer camps.

    Website Graphic resizedOntario By Bike Ride - Niagara Circle Route South - September 22-23, join Ontario By Bike on our last weekend-long small group tour of 2018, showcasing some of the lesser known trails of Niagara. This self-guided, supported tour is a 2 day / 1 night looped route featuring the southern portions of the famous Greater Niagara Circle Route.

    Uxcycle - On September 23rd, head to Uxbridge to participate in the 2nd annual Uxcycle. All routes will start and finish in beautiful Elgin Park in the heart of Uxbridge. Ride options include 2 mountain bike trail loops (12km and 20km), 2 road cycling loops (54km and 25km) as well as an awesome family fun loop within the park. Live music, great local food, local craft brewery and many other businesses in the marketplace for good times after the ride.

    The Healing Cycle Ride - On September 23rd, ride in the 14th annual Healing Cycle Ride in Brampton. All routes will leave from the Brampton Fall Fair Grounds with ride options of 100km, 50km, 25km and a 10km trail ride.

    Gianni Giro -Join the 5th Annual Gianni Giro on September 23rd in King City. Get ready for another year of great cycling, as riders will be able to choose from 5km, 45km and 90km distances and finish up at a highly charged fun fair and bbq.

    Greg`s Ride - On Sunday, September 23rd, join others for Greg’s Ride: Ontario's Ride for Safer Cycling, where 100% of the profits go towards supporting cycling advocacy and programs across Ontario. Route options include 8, 37 and 77km, beginning and ending at 65 Hatt Street in Dundas by the Shawn & Ed Brewing Company.

    MEC Barrie Century Ride - September 29 - Ride the 5th annual MEC Barrie 50K and 100K fall ride. This year they're taking the event west into beautiful Clearview Township! Our route will start and end at Creemore Springs Brewery. The ride is supported with marshals and directional arrows along the course, as well as a couple of rest stops. Register before August 26th for just $35!

    Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour - September 29 - Take in the last sights of summer, whether you are touring through picturesque country roads and along historic County Road 50, or meandering the off-road nature ride on the Chrysler Canada and Cypher Systems Group Greenways, this event is not to be missed. Come out for a great ride and help raise funds for our local trail system.

    Markham Cycling Day & Tour de Markham - Now in its 11th year, Markham Cycling Day is York Region’s largest public cycling event. It features the Tour de Markham, comprising of 10km, 25km and 50km cycling routes across the City open to youth, adults, seniors and families. It also features bicycle races for children and youth ages 3-10. In addition, a meal, give-a-ways, raffle prizes and entertainment. All events are FREE!

    Sara's Ride - (2018 Date Pending), head out to Albion Hills for a mountain bike ride in memory of Sara Rosen, and to help continue her extremely charitable work, please, join the first annual "Sara's Ride".

    Fall Colour Ride - The 2018 Picton Kiwanis Fall Colour Fondo (formerly Colour Cribbage Ride) will be on Sunday September 23, 2018. Take your choice of a 100, 50 or 25 km ride through beautiful Prince Edward County. Registration Includes: Refreshment stops along the route, lunch, a local produce sample and a chance to win a draw prize.

    Brian Smith Charity Bike Ride - On September 23, join the 15th annual Brian Smith Charity Bike Ride and choose from 144km, 82km, or 53km routes. The ride starts and finishes from Hutch’s on the Beach in Hamilton.

    The Growling Beaver Brevet - Growling Beaver Brevet is a social (non-race) ride with 200 cyclists riding 40, 100 or 200km routes through the scenic Grey County. The event on September 29, will feature Beaver Valley and Georgian Bay communities and merchants that have supported cyclists through the summer season.

    Tour of Madawaska - Fall Colour Cycling Retreat- There is no better time and place to enjoy the splendid fall colours, stunning scenery, quiet roads, and campfire camaraderie than at this woodland retreat. On (2018 Dates Pending), Madawaska Cycling Tours are designed for those who are challenged by tough terrain and are undeterred by inclement weather. Costs range from $55 for single day and dinner to $285 for multi-day and indoor accommodation.

    Hastings Highlands Hilly Hundred - September 29, Considered "The Toughest Century Ride" in Ontario, Hastings Highlands Hilly Hundred explores colourful forests, lakes and hills and valleys of the Canadian Shield. Looking for a challenge? Try the 100 mile course or try the shorter course if you want something a little less demanding, a 100 km course. There is also a 32 km route for the more sensible riders!

    Tour de TD1 - September 30, sign up for this inaugural ride that starts at the Oro Fairgrounds in Oro-Medonte and explores the well-known cycling routes of the township. There will be 3 routes (25km, 50km and 100km) to entice both seasoned cyclists and recreational enthusiasts.



    Toronto International Bicycle Show - Fall Blowout - On October 13th, head to the Bicycle Fall Blowout Sale, a one-day only, Year-End Clearout, from 10am to 5pm. Get there early as this once-a-year, seven-hour sales blitz draws a crowd.

    Everesting Bike Challenge - On October 13, head out to Caledon and join an exclusive 75 other cyclists to work in teams of 4-8 to cumulatively cycle the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest (8,848 metres)

    Howling Coyote- On October 21st, the Howling Coyote is a new race/ride through the rolling gravel of Mono, Ontario. Just outside of Toronto you will see nearly empty gravel roads, beautiful views, spectacular fall colours and a few hills. Event has 80k, 40k or 20k routes.

    Sausauge Suit ITT - A sanctioned time trial mountain bike race on a 15km or 30km course in Dufferin County Forest.  

    Cyclocross Events - Fall is CycloCross season and 2018 is no different for this growing sport. From October to November, throughout the province there are various race and event days. For event dates and locations visit www.cyclocross.org

    UCI LogoUCI Track Cycling World Cup - For the second year in a row the velodrome in Milton will host a track cycling World Cup race series. Don't miss the event with top Canadian and international cyclists competing in races including the Madison, Omnium, team pursuits, sprints, scratch races and more October 26 to 28.     


    Kingston Snophy - On January 7, ride in one of the 45NRTH Ontario Fat Bike Series in Kingston, Ontario.

    Albion Fat Bike Festival - On January 13, gather for this new year ride suitable for all levels. Bike snow trails at Albion Hills Conservation Area, 20km or 10km poker race, demos, hot chili and bonfire.


    Coldest Day of the Year Ride - On February 3rd, join Cycle Toronto for their annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride! Starting off at 11:30 am at Alexander the Great Parkette, Logan & Danforth for a short, family friendly ride along the best cycling routes Toronto has to offer. After the ride, warm up at a nearby establishment. Both the start and end points are subway accessible.

    Muskoka Winter Fat Bike Festival - Love winter and biking? The First Annual Muskoka Winter Fat Bike Festival is taking place on February 10th at Deerhurst Resort. The event features a 11km race course, a kids race, bonfire, live entertainment, beer tasting and food as well as other fun trails to ride.

    Wendigo Ultra - On February 10, fatbike 50km, 100km or 150km across Whitewater Township in the Ottawa Valley and into Quebec. Starting and finishing at the Whitewater Brewery Lakeside location.

    Devil's Glen Fat Bike Series Race 3 - Ontario Fat Bike Series Race 3 - On February 11th, head out to Devil's Glen Ski Resort for the 3rd OFBS race, a 10km loop with chili, hot chocolate and memorable ‘fireside’ stories when you're all done!

Join us at the largest bicycle consumer show in the world to shop a fantastic range of bike manufacturers and retailers.     45NRTH Ontario Fat Bike Series - Final Race  - Head out to Hardwood Ski & Bikes for the final event in the Cannondale Fat Bike Series p/b 45NRTH. The course is approximately 15k long. Long course will be 2 laps, short course will be 1 laps. Enjoy a wonderful day out riding bikes in the winter!


    Hell of the North – Sunday April 1, 2018 ride in the 10th annual 'Hell of the North'! Starting and ending at the Ballantrae Community Center. The epic spring classic with 90 kilometers of the most amazing dirt and off road sections to make this truly one of the hardest events of the year!

    Steaming Nostril – Sunday April 8 2018 in St. Jacobs Ontario this Cross, Mountain bike, gravel grinder event is now in it`s 5th year, this early spring event has 41 and 65 km course options, on a mix of gravel roads, farm lanes, rail trails and uses some private farm single track trails. An early Spring Canadian “must do” Classic.

    Tour de Pelham – Sunday April 15 2018, ride in the Tour of Pelham, another Spring Classic that covers the area’s best trails and gravel roads with challenging rolling hills and mixed surfaces. Route distances include 29km, 34km, and 54km (route rode twice).


    Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race – Canada’s spring cycling classic, features 70, 40 & 20 km course options with different start locations and the same finish line in Ancaster. Each course has a mix of gravel roads, farm lanes and trails. This popular event takes place on April 29, 2018 and now includes a fundraising option to support research at St. Joseph’s Helthcare Hamilton.

    Great Ride N Stride Burlington Great Ride 'n' Stride is a non-competitive, pledge-based fundraising event. This is the 39th year for GRNS Burlington, making it the longest running fundraiser in the city. Participants can choose to ride their bikes along a beautiful 17km trail located in downtown Burlington. Ride on April 29 in Burlington.

    Mike Ride – On Sunday May 6th, join the 8th Annual 'Mike Ride', a fun family ride starting and ending at Collective Arts Brewing in Hamilton. Six routes ranging from 5km to 75km provide something for every ability. In addition to increasing awareness of all aspects of cycling through vendors and displays promoting the Art and Culture of Cycling, the funds raised purchase bikes, helmets, bells and locks for Hamilton inner city students and their families, and provide programming to encourage students to ride to school daily. ‘Ride so a child can ride'

    CN Cycle for CheoCN Cycle for CHEO – On Sunday May 6th, 2018, this charity event encourages everyone to cycle, walk, and roll, in support of children with cancer at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Events take place at the Canadian War Museum, in Ottawa, and the adjacent grounds at LeBreton Flats. The cycle routes are non-competitive, offering a range of distances (15 km, 35 km & 70 km bike routes and a 2km and 5 km walk), all starting and ending at LeBreton Flats.

    Clarence Rockland Classic: Ride with Rendall - On May 8th, join the cycling club Ride with Rendall for the 10th annual Clarence-Rockland Classic with its 85km route a mix of gravel and paved roads.

    Ride for the Rouge - On May 12th, ride 25km as part of the 25th annual Ride for the Rouge event, with all money raised through your donations and collected pledges will ensure the continued operation of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.

    Epic 8 Hour - On May 12th, 2018 - Ride this spring mountain bike relay at Mansfield Outdoor Centre. Single track and double track 10km course, with overnight camping onsite and lots of fun team activities. Also featuring non competitive kids event.

    BORCA Spring Chicken Enduro - May 12th, 2018 ride the BORCA Spring Chicken, an MTB event featuring a 27km and 60km Enduro Mountain Bike races in an emerging mountain bike destination next to the Ottawa River in Renfew County. 

    Diva Day Road Cycling Clinic (Women Only) - May 12th, join Pedal Pushers in Collingwood for a 1 day fully supported road cycling clinic that features guided scenic routes, mini mechanic seminar, gear selection, climbing, descending and group riding drills, lunch, snacks, goodie bag & Spa pass (optional). Approx ride distances 50-60km

    The Mother of (all) Rides - May 12th, join cyclists of all levels in Kingston and experience the rolling terrain of Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Counties. Cyclists can choose between 4 routes: 25km, 50km, 100km, 161km. There will be draws for prizes. Start your riding season early and make your mother proud!

    Spring on the Trail - SOTT - May 13th, join this free event, raising funds for the Guelph to Goderich Rail Trail. More information on website.

    Spring Into Summer Ravine Celebration - On May 13th, head to Evergreen Brickworks and spring into summer with the Don River Valley Park’s celebration of Toronto’s ravines on Sunday, May 13! Shop a refurbished bike sale, participate in a guided nature walk or bike tour, build a birdhouse and join in on camp fire sing-alongs. Free, guided rides and walks require pre-registration.

    Ride of Silence - On May 16th, 2018 , join cyclists in Niagara in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph/20 kph) in honour of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. The ride is a slow, procession style, approximately 10 km ride, with all cyclists following the rules of the road. The event takes place every year on the third Wednesday in May starting at 7:00pm. The 2018 starting location will be start at Firemen's Park at Dorchester Road and Mountain Road. Come early for a free bicycle check compliments of Inception Cyclery.

    Gravel Road Clinic (co-ed) - May 19th, join Pedal Pushers in Creemore for a fantastic clinic aimed to prepare you for everything gravel riding may throw at you. There are many types of gravel roads. Super smooth hard packed, freshly graded and some that barely resemble a road. Learn the proper techniques to ride loose climbs, potholes and bumpy descents. Holding lines and following wheels on gravel also requires a different technique than the road. This clinic will address everything you need to know about how to ride safely on gravel.

    NOKIA Sunday Bikedays – From the end of May to the beginning of September, every Sunday morning, over 50km of roads in the heart of Ottawa and nearby Gatineau Park are closed to motor vehicles and open for cyclists, in-line skaters, runners and pedestrians.

    Creemore Springs Turas Mór – On Saturday May 26th, Creemore Springs Turas Mór offers up one challenging route – a 61km journey taking you thru the scenic, rolling hills and the beautiful countryside of Clearview Township. The ride can be considered challenging with gravel roads and a few steep climbs.

    7 days in May

    7 Days in May - 7 Days In May is designed for riders of all abilities. There are two aspects to 7 Days In May: a single day riding event featuring rides of 25KM, 50KM, 75KM and 160KM; and a 7 day event where we ride around Lake Ontario. This year, 7 Days In May will be held from Saturday May 26th, to Friday June 1st, 2018.

    Ride for Jack - On Saturday May 26th, join cyclists in Caledon of all abilities to ride the 8th Annual Ride for Jack event. Whether cyclists decide to ride 25, 50, 100 or 125km, each program raises funds for Youth Mental Health.

    Cycle Canada Century Ride - On May 26th-27th, participate in this century ride weekend event with day or full-weekend options. Ride either the metric or full century ride at either 100 km or 160km options.

    Hardwood SingleTrack Classic - On May 26th, enjoy 22 or 44 km of riding on fast flowy dedicated Mountain Bike Trails! The Hardwood SingleTrack Classic is a new and “secret” 22km loop using the famously popular trails in and around Hardwood Ski and Bike.

    Kitchener Bike Fest - On Sunday May 27th, head out to Kitchener for the 6th annual BikeFest! Enjoy a fun community event celebrating the power of the bicycle in positively transforming our health, environment and community. The event has brought over 4,500 residents into Downtown Kitchener and activities such as free bike-tune ups, live music and cycling skills workshops were offered.

    Food Cycle Ride - On Sunday May 27th, participate in Centre Wellington`s Food Cycle Ride, a charity event occurring in the towns of Fergus and Elora for cyclists to ride our trail and road routes.

    Spin the LAkesSpin The Lakes - Join the 13th Annual Spin the Lakes Cycle Tour on May 26th, 2018. Take a tour around Ontario’s beautiful Muskoka region. The tour takes you around several of the Muskoka lakes along routes with breath taking views and spectacular rock cuts. Route lengths include 20, 50, 110, and 170km.

    Bike-A-Thon Plus - Cornwall - On May 26th, enjoy a day of fun riding in and around Cornwall. This fundraising event has a variety of routing options for cyclists.

    Jim Walsh Bike Ride for Kids with Cancer – On May 27th, ride the Jim Walsh Bike Ride for Kids, which starts & ends at Knights of Columbus Hall, 12 Catharine Avenue in Brantford. A 9am start kicks off riding on 80km on Brantford’s gorgeous rail trail. $25 per rider (under 13 years ride free) $75 per family (up to 4)

    Tour of Kincardine – On May 27, participate in 22km cross classic. The race route trails are part of the Kincardine Trails system – an entirely intra-town system with a variety of challenging terrain for a cyclist. The race course is approximately 22.5km long. The terrain roughly breaks down to 8.8km of hard surfaces, 9.7km of single track, and 4km of paved roads.

    Villa Charities GIRO – On May 27, experience the premier cycling event of the year at the 12th Annual Giro cycling fundraiser in Woodbridge. Celebrate the exhilarating finale of the Giro d'Italia, ride the family-friendly 25km route or the scenic and challenging 60km and 100km routes, enjoy rest stops with gourmet food and beverage and support a great cause!

    The Lake Ride - On May 27, join the 8th Annual The Lake Ride. The ride is in York Region, beginning in Newmarket and on to the beautiful southern shores of Lake Simcoe and back. The ride feature's two distances, 60km and 100km.

    Rotary Lilac Ride - On May 27, starting and ending in Picton, Prince Edward County, pick from 3 distances to enjoy the lilac blooms and spring green on quiet country roads (27km, 57km or 100km). The 3rd annual event supports literacy in the County.

    Cycle for Sight – Raising funds for Foundation Fighting Blindness, this 9th annual event is a fully supported one-day ride for experienced and novice cyclists. 2018 Dates: Saturday June 23rd: Creemore - with the choice of three distances of 50, 100, and 150 km and Sunday August 19: Ottawa - with the choice of three distances of 25, 60 and 100km.

    West Nipissing Cycle for Charity - Bike for Kids, on Sunday, June 3, and make a difference with funds providing bikes for children in need. Enjoying 1 of 3 routes from Sturgeon Falls, following a portion of the Voyageur Route, currently under development.   

    Tour de Speed - On June 9th, young riders can sign up and join Ontario’s oldest leg of the Ontario Cycling Association's Youth Series for cyclists 9 to 18. Entry fee is $39 and includes lunch and tee-shirt. Races are run on paved country roads with rolling hills to add to the challenge and between 9 and 34km (depending on age).

    Evan's Ride for Autism – On Saturday, June 9, 2018, 9am-1pm, join this family-oriented cycling event to raise funds to support persons with autism and their families in the Niagara Region. Ride on 11 or 22 km routes through the scenic country roads around Smithville and join in the post-ride family fun activities.

    Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour - Now in its 47th year, this weekend long event on June 9th-10th offers 4 different tour routes, between Ottawa, Perth, Kingston and back. 2,000 cyclists participate in this popular tour run by volunteers and organized by the Ottawa Bicycle Club since 1972.

    Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer – This popular annual fundraising ride brings cyclists through Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara Falls on a 200+ km route over 2 days and draws over 4,000 cyclists from across Ontario & North America.     Tour de Grand 2017Tour de Grand - On Sunday, June 10th, ride this award winning, recreational cycling event, suitable for cyclists of all ages. In celebration of its 20th anniversary, has added two new routes to its existing nine. The 50 and 76 km gravel and trail routes will appeal to gravel and cross riders. Snacks and lunch included; along with the first 1900 riders receiving event t-shirts. 

    Outspokin Gravel Growler On Sunday, June 10th, come ride 40, 80 or 160km of great gravel roads near Ilderton Ontario. In support of the Fowler Kennedy Clinic this ride will challenge riders of all skill levels. After your ride, enjoy a variety of food trucks and a beer garden courtesy of Muskoka Brewery. Free beer for all registrants!

    Dualathon - Canadian Tire Motorsport Park - On June 9th-10th, ride an endurance race for road bikes at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. This event features options for solo riders or teams of 2, 4 and 8. This non-drafting race will permit TT bikes as well as road bikes and recumbents.

    Ride for KCC - On June 10, ride either 50 or 100km route options on a one day charity ride previously the Zareinu Moveathon, the Ride for KCC is a . Choose from one of four fantastic and challenging route options (25 km, 50 km, 100 km, 135km).

    The Blue Mountains Gran Fondo – Previously known as the Grey County Road Race, on June 14, those more competitive riders can sign up for newly rebranded Blue Mountain Gran Fondo, which happens to be the sole Canadian qualifier events for the 2018 UCI Gran Fondo World Series.

    Tour de Mississippi Mills - On June 16th, sign up for the The Tour de Mississippi Mills, a signature event of Mississippi Mills Bicycle Month. It’s all about fun and participation for all ages and riding abilities — with routes ranging from 30, 60, 80 or 100 kilometres (km).

    VÉLOCITY - On June 16th, join a great day out for the whole family in Caledon. Sign up for a 10k family ride, and 25km, 60km, or 100km rides for more experienced cyclists. Vélocity offers something for riders of all abilities with prizes being awarded for all routes. Each ride will wind you through the prestigious trails of the Caledon bike route, which offer stunning views of our rolling countryside and beautiful forests.

    Huron County 'Better Together" Ride to End Hunger - June 16, ride in the 3rd "Better Together Ride to End Hunger". The event features 3 routes - 10km; 50km and 100km. In addition to the 3 routes, there will be a "Slow Roll" Ride in a local village at 4km. All routes will start and end at the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre at the corner of Crediton Road and Hwy. #4. The ride is followed by a BBQ lunch.

    Bike for Tykes - On June 21st, 2018, joing Bike for Tykes a one day spinning relay that raises funds to support programs that improve the lives of children.

    Bike The Creek - On June 23rd, 2018 ride the 5th annual Bike the Creek ride. Choose from 4 routes ranging from 11 to 40 km. Enjoy pavilions enroute where participants can learn about the natural and cultural heritage of the area.     Rael's Ride - On June 24th, head to the North Thornhill Community Centre for Rael's Ride, a 25km/60km charity ride with a BBQ lunch and concert by the Practically Hip, Canada's #1 Tragically Hip tribute band. All to raise money for the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.

    WHEELS - On June 24th, ride with the pros or cycle as a family, with routes designed for riders of all ages and abilities. This is an all-inclusive, accessible, family friendly cycling event.

    Hairshirt Classic Double Century - On June 24, punish yourself on this free ride hosted by the Toronto Bicycling Network. Ride from Mississauga to Niagara and back for a little self-inflicted fun.

    Ride Don't Hide - On Sunday, June 24, 2018, communities across Canada will cycle together to raise funds for mental health. The Canadian Mental Health Association’s annual Ride Don’t Hide brings Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life together to help break the stigma and raise funds for mental health. This year there'll be over 12,000 participating in 35 community rides coast to coast (17 communities in Ontario) to help raise over $2 million for mental health initiatives.

    Scotiabank Tour de Guelph - Join the 5th Annual Tour de Guelph, a community bicycling event for all ages and abilities.     The Wild Rock Sportive - July 7, participate in the Wild Rock Sportive will begin in the afternoon, at 3pm on a Saturday. Cyclists will ride a route that incorporates some of the finest roads in the Kawartha region, including gravel and road sections that will be challenging and yet absolutely stunning to ride. With the long daylight of summer, the scene is set to be remarkable.

    MEC London Century Ride - On July 8 between 8am-3pm, join MEC for the Annual MEC London Century Ride, for a beautiful 60K,100K, or 160K route that takes you along the quiet rural roads surrounding London Ontario. There will be marshals and directional signs along the course, as well as 3 rest stops along the way complete with replenishments, washrooms, and a bike mechanic for minor repairs

    PwC MS Bike Tour - Prince Edward County - PwC MS Bike is the largest cycling series in North America. Since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels fundraise and cycle together to end Canada’s disease. This unique event series provides Canadians with the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country. On July 8th, 2018 join cyclists in 'The County' for 40km, 75km routes.

    MEC Toronto Century Ride - Horseshoe Valley - On July 14 between 8am-3pm, join MEC for the 5th Annual Century Ride, a one day cycling adventure where 65K and 100K routes will take you along the rural roads of Oro. This course is supported with marshals, directional arrows and rest stations. Mechanical and medical support is available if needed. Upon finishing, join us and fellow riders to celebrate with drinks and food at Horseshoe Resort.

    Indy Cycling Challenge - On July 12, 2018, participate in this exclusive race for cycling enthusiasts to experience the Honda Indy Toronto race track.

    Pedaling for ParkinsonsPedaling for Parkinson's - Between July 13th-15th 2018, enjoy riding some beautiful roads in the Parry Sound area and help make a difference in the lives of people and families affected by Parkinson's. Riders of all levels are welcome and can choose to ride 1, 2, or 3 days. Routes range from 40 to 130 km. 

    Ralph's Race Against Cancer - On July 14 2018, join a family friendly trail ride in Peterborough. The bike race will be along Lakefield Trail will be followed by a BBQ at the Lock. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards Esophageal Cancer Research.

    Summer Epic 8 Hour MTB Relay - On July 14 2018, head to Hardwood Ski for the Roots, Rocks & Reggae themed MTB relay event. Sure to be fun, social and challenging for all ages and abilities.

    Andy's Ride - On July 14 2018, head out to the heart of Muskoka and join Andy’s Ride, an OPP escorted cycling featuring 3 routes: 35km, 90km and 135km. Enjoy post ride entertainment, lunch and swag. Tax receipt from Hospice Muskoka for $250. This event start and ends at the Port Carling Community Center.

    HARTCycle to #StopTraffick - On July 14 sign up for the 25km or 70km one day fully supported bike ride happening in Muskoka to raise awareness and funds to provide services for survivors of sex trafficking. Fundraising prizes, private dock party on Lake Joseph and special musical guest *hint* it’s a major Canadian band.  

    Le Tour de Norfolk - On July 15, 2018 explore picturesque back roads and quaint villages as you cycle the quiet, paved roads of Norfolk County, located on the north shore of Lake Erie. Choose from 40, 75, 100 and 160 km routes with rest stops every 20-25 km, complete with snacks and refreshments. Enjoy a delicious spaghetti lunch and ice cream at the end of the ride and cool off in the outdoor pool. Road support is provided and routes are clearly marked. All rides start and end in Delhi.

    GranFondo Ottawa - Reggio Capitale - Get the European-inspired "Big Ride" experience in the Ottawa Valley with fiestas before, during, and after the ride on July 21st 2018. Relaxed non-competitive options include 65 and 100 km or opt for the 180 or 235 km Gran and Supr Fondos with timed sections. All rides are fully supported.

    Max's Big Climb - July 21st, challenge yourself and climb the iconic Sydenham Hill in Dundas, Ontario. Compete in an individual time trial and for the title of 'King' and 'Queen of the Mountain'. In addition, this year we will be adding an exciting hour-long team event - the 'Horse Kill Relay'.

    El Bandito - July 21st, El Bandito 140 is back for 2018! It is part of the StuporCross series with the Eager Beaver 100. Let’s be clear though, this will be a completely different course. Great scenery, some challenging stuff and unique trails that you didn’t know were there await. And new for 2018 there is a shorter gentler course option for those who think that having fun and enjoying scenery doesn’t have to involve untold pain and suffering.

    The Noble Pursuit- On July 22, ride in an event of a different sort. The Noble Puruit takes place in Peterborough County and is a self-supported team ride along a route that is a closely guarded secret, revealed to great fanfare (and the odd weak knee) on the morning of the event. It will be long — around 170km.

    Sudbury Fitness Challenge Mountain Bike Tour - On July 22, bring out your mountain bike and join this annual event, supporting family, fun, and fitness at a recreational level for people of all ages and skill levels (from newbie to experienced). The goal of the race is to encourage physical fitness and healthy living in the spirit of competition! Distances from 350m to 20 km. All the information for Racers and Volunteers is at HERE

    Kitchener Twilight Grand Prix Criterium - July 27 2018, this 4th Annual Cycling Canada sanctioned Criterium will have race categories from Beginner level to Elite Pro Men’s and Female races raced in the downtown area of Kitchener, Ontario part of the “July Speed Weekend” of Criterium racing in Waterloo Region. Not racing? GO to KW and enjoy the 2 days of exciting high speed bike racing on the 1.1 km race course in the downtown cores of Kitchener and Cambridge.

    Fieldstone Criterium of Cambridge - On July 28 2018, this Cycling Canada sanctioned Criterium is the 2nd event of the “July Speed Weekend” in Waterloo Region. Criterium races will be held in beautiful old historical downtown area of Cambridge known as Galt. Racers will navigate the core area and ride over the Grand River on two of the 3 historical bridges.

    Friends for Life Bike Rally

    Friends For Life Bike Rally – Join a one-day ride from Toronto to Port Hope (108km) on July 29th or join over 400 cyclists ride the Waterfront Trail from Toronto to Montreal – 600 km over 6 days. This 20th annual event which raises funds for people living with HIV/AIDS, is set for July 29th to August 3rd, 2018.

    War on the Shore – On july 29th, join War on the Shore Criterium for a third installment. This scenic and technical course offers a vast variety of participant categories from the Open Beach Cruiser Rally to the Open Pro/Am, lots of great prizing and cash purses, and Southampton’s stellar beach!

    Great Waterfront Trail Adventure 2018- On July 29 to August 3rd, 2018, join the 11th annual GWTA for 40 -110km (25 - 68 miles) of riding per day as we travel along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail from Ajax with it's beautiful off road trail to the Quebec border and a finish line celebration with more than a slight nod to the Celtic traditions of South Glengarry.

    PwC MS Bike Tour - Grand Bend to London - PwC MS Bike is the largest cycling series in North America. Since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels fundraise and cycle together to end Canada’s disease. This unique event series provides Canadians with the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country. On July 28-29th, 2018 join cyclists for a 2-day, 150km fully supported bike tour.

    R4WS - RIDE 4 Williams Syndrome – On July 29th, ride in the 4th annual charity bike ride which takes off from North Woodbridge through King City and loops around Aurora back to Woodbridge.

This self-guided, supported tour is a 2 day / 1 night linear route from Uxbridge to Peterborough (or on to Lakefield).


    CanAm Century Ride & Cycling Weekend- On August 4th and 5th, join this unique bicycle ride throughout the Canadian and American sides of the Buffalo-Niagara region. Choose between pedal adventures ranging from 56 (US-Only), 100, or 160 km! The two longer rides cross into Canada from the US, so bring your passport! A weekend of events with rural scenic and urban archetecture tours, among other events. Registration includes support, snacks at the rest stops and a post ride picnic.

    Bluewater International Granfondo – On August 5th, 2018 ride in this exciting Granfondo welcoming cyclists to Lambton County’s Bluewaterland. The 2nd annual event starts and finishs along the shores of Lake Huron in Sarnia’s beautiful Mike Weir Park. Route options include 50, 100 and 150 km. Take in the scenery of thriving fruit orchards or challenging yourself on the rolling hills of Arkona.

    Women's 4 Hour - On August 11, join Women`s 4 Hour Mountain Bike Relay at Hardwood Ski and Bike. All about camaraderie, sportsmanship and the enjoyment of riding with friends, the Women`s 4 Hour relay is a personal and team challenge to complete as many laps as possible.

    Bikes4Bibles (North Bay) - On August 11, sign up for the North Bay Bike 4 Bibles, a 3 hour ride around starting from Lee Park in North Bay to Centennial Park in Callander and back to Lee Park in North Bay. Additional extra distance options will be added as others are taking their break during the ride.

    Eager Beaver 100 2.0 - On August 11, ride Eager Beaver 100 2.0, a re-birth of the Eager Beaver 100 mountain bike race but with a new twist. This is a 100 mile, 100k or 50k bicycle race/ride. That is it. It isn’t a road race or a mountain bike race or a fondo, or even a fondue. It is just a bike race/ride. With a lot of gravel.

    Ride4UnitedWay - On August 12, join the annual Ride4UnitedWay! A mass start from Whitby at 8:00am with 3 distances of 60km, 100km and 160km. A fully supported ride with on course support including food, hydration and check points. Bike mechanics will be on duty. Lunch, showers and massages at the finish. $60 before July 1st.

    Northern Pass - On August 12, ride in the second annual Northern Pass, a cycling adventure designed with passionate riders in mind. This is a unique opportunity to experience the best riding that Muskoka has to offer while raising vital funds for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

    Ride for Karen - On August 12, join cyclists from across Ontario for the 16th annual Ride for Karen, an annual fundraising ride to send children with cancer to camp. The fully-supported cycling event features a century ride (160km), along with 100km and 200km distances. Started in 2002 as a tribute to Karen Tobias who passed away from breast cancer, 100% of proceeds from the ride are donated to charity.

    Gran Fondo Lake Huron - The Gran Fondo Lake Huron is a fundraising bike ride, out of Southampton, Ontario, supporting the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation. The inaugural event is set to take place on Sunday, August 19th, 2018 and will offer four distances; 30km, 70km, 110km, and 160km. This ride welcomes cyclists of all levels, offering a fantastic and scenic tour of the Bruce County country side.

    Mountainview 9 Lives Enduro - On August 19, head to Midland, Ontario for the best trails that Mountainview has to offer at the Nine Lives Enduro. The newest craze in MTB racing, an enduro is a same day stage race, where riders will compete on a series of timed stages, and must proceed to the next stage.

    Crank the Shield - On August 17 to 19, Crank the Shield moves from it’s Haliburton roots northward! Sault Ste. Marie/Algoma Country and has all the ingredients to reignite the passion of all those who have CRANKED the Shield! This 3-day staged ride includes a heritage train trip to the start, riding back through Ontario's backcountry!

    Ride the Vine - A 2-day luxury cycling and culinary experience August 17 & 18 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Visit wineries and enjoy gourmet catered meals along with 2 days of supported rides with culinary stops enroute. Space is limited.

    Tour for Kids (Ontario) - August 17 to 19 marks the 15th year of Tour For Kids, an epic cycling adventure that raises funds in support of kids living with and beyond cancer. This 3-day, 300 to 600 km tour of quiet country roads north of Barrie is a challenging and rewarding experience. Tour For Kids isn’t just about conquering cancer. It’s about making a meaningful, immediate and lasting difference in the lives of kids with cancer today.

    Tour de Bonnechere - The 9th Annual Tour de Bonnechere takes place August 19th and will include a "family friendly" 20k tour from Eganville to the Bonnechere Caves. The "old favorites" 50k and 100k routes will include the 4k ascent from Cormac to Foymount, Ontario's highest populated point, offering spectacular views of the Ottawa Valley enroute.

    DGT 2017Dunnville Grand Tour - On August 18th-19th, 2018, enjoy a scenic ride through the picturesque community of Haldimand county. Enjoy breathtaking views along the shores of Lake Erie, and throughout the peaceful countryside. With routes ranging from 25-100 km, we have something for everyone.

    3 Port Tour - On August 18th, challenge yourself to 160km - three ports, 100km - two ports or 50km - one port road ride. Cycle through Elgin County’s waterfront communities, historic sites, scenic countryside and surroundings. Limited to 500 riders, sign up early. All routes are supported and everyone gets lunch at Port Bruce. Free t-shirt for those registering before August 7th.

    lifeCYCLE - On August 18th, head out to scenic Wolfe Island for lifeCYCLE 2018! This ride raises funds for the University Hospital Kingston Foundation. There are 3 route options; 52km, 102km and a 24km route for families. All routes are suitable for road bikes, and a BBQ lunch will be provided.

    PwC MS Bike Tour - Ottawa to Cornwall - PwC MS Bike is the largest cycling series in North America. Since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels fundraise and cycle together to end Canada’s disease. This unique event series provides Canadians with the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country. On August 18th-19th, 2018 join cyclists in on a total 80-215km, 2-day fully supported tour from Ottawa to Cornwall.

    NEW Dirty Enduro - On August 18th, head out to Harold Town Conservation area, just east of Peterborough for a fantastic mountain bike event. With a range of route options, this event is sure to please even the hardiest of trail riders.

    PwC MS Bike Tour - Niagara - PwC MS Bike is the largest cycling series in North America. Since 1989, cyclists of all ages and fitness levels fundraise and cycle together to end Canada’s disease. This unique event series provides Canadians with the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country. On August 19th, 2018 join cyclists in on a 40 and 75km route through Niagara Region.

    Grease Monkey Mountain Bike Challenge - On (2018 Date Pending), head out to Bruce County for a 5 hour multi-lap, relay style MTB bike race with a little bit of flair! Ride options for all, and all are welcome. Route includes primarily single track with features include logs, bridges, twisty and tight trail sections and rock gardens.

    Kawartha Lakes Classic - The Kawartha Lakes Classic will be held on August 25th at 8 am. The Classic Cycling Tour has something for everyone, including routes of 13, 25, 50, 100 and 160 km to suit all levels of riders.

    Gravel Road Clinic & wine tasting (co-ed) – August 25th, join Pedal Pushers in Collingwood and develop the necessary skills to tackle th new trend in cycling, gravel riding. Signed up for a gravel event? You need to come prepared. Gravel riding opens up a whole new world of quiet roads with spectacular scenery and Bruce/Grey/Simcoe has some of the best gravel roads in Ontario.

    Wheels of Hope - On August 25th, Raising funds to assist with transportation needs of cancer patients, ride 20km or 65km routes from London - Dorchester - Ingersol. No minimum required to join the ride.

    Highway of Heroes Bike Ride - On August 25-26, Wounded Warriors Highway of Heroes Bike Ride will take a group of Canadians along this sacred stretch (CFB Trenton to Queen's Park) to raise funds and awareness for those living with occupational stress injuries like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Honour the Fallen, Help the Living. Minimum fund raising required with 160 and 220kms route options available.

    Shimano Gran Fondo - On August 26, head out to the Kawarthas region,and to the city of Peterborough and Peterborough County for the Shimano Gran Fondo. The surrounding area offers cyclists picturesque and challenging roads that are perfect for this 2nd annual ride.
