Ontario By Bike and Transportation Options are proud to announce the 2019 Cycle Tourism Conference, a full-day conference to be held in downtown Toronto on March 1, 2019.

Accommodation

The Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto has been designated as the official host hotel for the 2019 Cycle Tourism Conference. A discounted rate for accommodations has been arranged at the Chelsea Hotel for $155 (+HST & MAT) per night for registered attendees. LIMITED hotel rooms are now available.

Reservations must be made by individual attendees directly with the hotel by calling 416-595-1975 or toll-free at 1-800-243-5732.  Getting There and Parking

  • For those cycling to the conference, the hotel is conveniently located on bike lanes on Gerrard Street. Consult the City of Toronto Cycling Network Map to help plan your route.
  • For those taking TTC (subway/public transit) to the conference, the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from both Dundas and College subway stations on the Younge University Spadina Line (Line 1).
  • For those taking the trains, connect to TTC Subway Line 1, which is accessible through Union Station.
  • For those taking TTC (streetcar), please take 506 College east or westbound and exit at Bay Street. Walk south to Gerrard Street. Hotel located on Gerrard Street. Plan your route using the TTC Trip Planner
  • For those driving to the conference, parking is available in the underground parking directly below the Chelsea Hotel for a daily rate of $35.
  • For those flying to Toronto city airport, Billy Bishop / Toronto Island (YTZ) the hotel can be reached by taking the complimentary shuttle service between the airport and Union Station. Shuttle departs approximately every 15 minutes.
  • For those flying to Toronto Pearson international Airport, (YYZ) take the Union Pearson (UP Express) to get to/from downtown by train in 25 minutes. Get 25% off your return adult fare by entering the following promo code CTC2019 when purchasing tickets in advance and online
  • Use VIA Rail for train travel between urban centres and to Toronto. 
  • Use GO Transit for Greater Toronto and Hamilton area regional bus and train network.
