BIG Slow Roll 2025: Celebrating Community Through Cycling

Get ready to experience the joy of cycling at a relaxed pace with the BIG Slow Roll! This fun, inclusive 10km bike ride is designed for cyclists of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Taking place on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, as part of Sarnia Bike Week, the BIG Slow Roll invites participants to enjoy good company, live music, and the simple pleasure of cycling, all while exploring the beautiful streets of Sarnia.
The BIG Slow Roll isn’t about competition – it’s about connecting with others and celebrating the cycling community. Slow Rolls have become a beloved tradition across North America, known for their relaxed pace and welcoming atmosphere. No specialized gear or experience is required – just bring your bike (and leave the spandex at home)!
This event, organized by the Bluewater Cycling Organization (BCO) and local volunteers, aims to foster a greater appreciation for cycling in the Sarnia Lambton area. The goal is to promote cycling as a healthy, accessible activity for everyone while highlighting Sarnia as a vibrant cycling community.
The ride is free and open to all, whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a beginner. With a laid-back pace and a team of volunteer marshals ensuring everyone’s safety, the BIG Slow Roll is more than just a bike ride – it’s a celebration of community, inclusivity, and the joy of cycling.
