Greg’s Cycle for Kids

On Sunday, June 4th come and join us at the Mattamy National Cycling Centreto enjoy an epic day in the saddle – and make a difference in a youth’s life by putting them on a bike. We are keeping our classic routes for this season and anticipate warmer temperatures as we switch to late spring.
This year we are focused on providing a first-rate rider experience. We invested in a seasoned ride coordinator which will ensure from start to finish your day is top notch. The ride will include coffee and goodies at the start, 3 aid stations and mechanical support. Back at the finish we will have lunch ready for you to enjoy in our new “chill zone” while you share your adventures with fellow riders.
This ride is the 17th time we have gathered in memory of OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart who tragically lost his life, close by on Tremaine Road while on a training ride. Share the Road Cycling Coalition was created as a result and through the work of our organization, the landscape and laws regarding cycling in Ontario have changed. We continue to advance the efforts to create a bike friendly Ontario every day.
Your Participation fees and donations also go a long way in helping us support the Boys and Girls Clubs in Hamilton-Halton. We provide underprivileged kids bikes and give the the training needed to get started on their cycling journey.
We look forward to seeing our returning participants and greeting new ones too!
