Pedal for Portage

Pedal for Ontario Youth returns to a group ride event for it’s 5th annual ride, plus an option to ride on your time, your way.
Get ready to ride! Pedal for Portage, is back on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Riders choose to ride the 20, 45 or 60 km route. We need your support more than ever. Our goal is to raise $50,000. Your generosity will help support the development of life skills, youth leadership and Portage bursaries. Together, we can make great strides and bring the ultimate care to our community. In the past two years, deaths of people ages 14 to 18 caused by drug overdoses have risen dramatically. Our clinical staff continue to work hard caring for our youth suffering from substance abuse-related problems to overcome their dependencies and live healthy, happy, and productive lives.
Pedal for Portage is a cycling event in support of the youth we serve at Portage Ontario, located in Elora. Portage serves youth across the province, helping youth suffering from substance use disorders to overcome their dependencies and live healthy, happy, productive lives. The first Pedal for Portage took place in 2018 and riders from all over Ontario took the the rails and trails in Centre Wellington. In its four, (two in person and two virtual events) Pedal for Portage has raised over $150,000. Our biggest event was in 2019 when we last rode together in a single-day event, with over 100 registered riders. Pedal for Portage is for all ages and abilities and welcomes participation from community members as well as visitors to Guelph-Wellington.
