Ride the River
Ride the River is a cycling event that raises funds to purchase needed equipment for Brockville General Hospital. Individual riders, teams, and families; novice and experienced cyclists alike can participate. Participants pay a fee to register and are also encouraged to have friends and family members pledge their participation. Riders can join fellow participants on May 26th to ride along the parkway. Prizes are awarded to riders for various milestones. There is also a celebratory event with food and beverages for all riders and supporters.
Kicking off at Brown’s Bay as an individual, family or with your team, complete any of our Ride the River routes, or ride any of your own favourite routes if you are riding before the event.
​Ride the River 2024 offers 2 ride options:
- OPTION 1: Riders supporting Ride the River have the flexibility to ride at their convenience and location of choice before May 26th.
- OPTION 2: On May 26th, riders can join others along the scenic 1000 Islands Parkway, with four distinct routes available: 5 km Family Ride, 25 km ride, 50 km ride and a 100 km ride.
