Tour de Dundas / Taste of Dundas

The Tour de Dundas / Taste of Dundas is our community cycling event with a local flavour. Enjoy late-summer cycling at its finest with routes for everyone and delicious fare in the picturesque Dundas Driving Park.
Road riders: Rise to the challenge of riding out of the Dundas valley, where Canadian Olympians train. Starting in the heart of historic Dundas ON, our routes climb the Niagara escarpment and wind along paved rural roads through rolling countryside and pastoral landscapes. Route distances are 35 km, 60 km, 100 km and 100 miles, with elevation gains from less than 500m to over 1,000m. All routes are GPS-supported, with printed maps available. Stocked rest stations will be spaced at appropriate intervals. Lunch and refreshments will be waiting for you at the finish.
Families: Ride a gentle route passing Princess Point in Cootes Paradise, over the floating bridge on the Desjardins Canal, and along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail to Bayfront Park. Ride up to 20km along this out-and-back route, or trim your trip to meet your family’s preferences.
Food options: The Taste of Dundas will feature food and drink from local Dundas restaurants in the picturesque Dundas Driving Park, the perfect place for family picnic.
Your participation in this Rotary Club charity event will support Margaret’s Place Hospice and the Routes Youth Centre.
