Minutes Away . . . A World of Difference

Caledon, Ontario is a cyclist’s destination, right next to metropolitan Toronto. Characterized by rolling hills, lush river valleys, the steep Niagara Escarpment, amazing views and farmers’ fields, it is an impressive place to escape the confines of the city and explore by bike.

Relaxing. Family-Friendly
For an easy ride with no climbs, the Caledon Trailway is a wonderful option. The Town of Caledon turned this former rail line into a “rail trail” to encourage active transportation across the town. Running from Palgrave in the north-east to Terra Cotta in the south-west, the trailway is a great way to traverse Caledon and connect with other trails and outdoor destinations.

Challenging
Cyclists that like a bit more of a challenge can choose from many roads, both gravel and paved, that wind through the Niagara Escarpment.
Caledon is also the backdrop for many annual bike races and events, including the Jack Ride, Tour de Terra Cotta, Le Tour de Headwaters and Bike the Creek.
